my mother is always asking what type of Punjabi Suit I want her to order from India- and as soon as I saw this phenomenal photo of Lakshmi Menon wearing Margiela I instantly thought about the custom clothing possibilities. Punjabi garments are usually very very bright and colorful so this is super perfect as inspiration for my next order from India- plus I think mom will be impressed as well.
although it's not exactly my everyday kind of look- i have to give it up to the stylist for this editorial. its a beautifully complicated mess.
