296: the seasons shoe

last season i fell in love with the minimarket zipper wedge, which to this day is my most favorite, comfortable and snow friendly boot despite also being the tallest shoe in my collection. so I don't know why I was surprised when I saw their latest boots up for sale on Garde-Robe. Just when my paycheck landed in my bank account and my thirst for a new pair of shoes reached it's peak. I had to snatch these up quickly because last year I waited a while for the navy zip boots to be restocked. now the long and painful wait for the boots to actually arrive (the downside of pre-ordering).

295: shop while you work

there are few things better then shopping during a lunch break. mix in a rick owens jumpsuit and it's perfection.

i never thought i wanted this piece when i saw it on the ruway (something about the length on a long body just wasn't doing anything for me) until I saw it on kristine-barilli on stylelikeu. this is the one of those few times a garment looks 100% better on a shorter person. can't wait to experiment.

a quick post of what I've been wearing 3 out of 7 days of the week- just to prove that I'm trying to get back to posting outfits from time to time. i feel like i'm getting back to things, sketching out a collection, photographing a few things that will be in MishaMarket when it re-launches at the end of February (fingers crossed!!)

I'm in the process of finding the perfect red lipstick, this is a mix of smashbox and a swedish brand called Make Up Store- still not as electric as I want it to be, but close.

swedish companies sure know the way to a girls heart. luckily these won't make a huge dent in my wallet but the last pair just blow me away- i've never wanted anything from Mr. Wangs collections but flat sandals in my favorite color (of the moment). are they worth it?

289: two thousand and ten

I've been super busy spending time with all my loved ones in California. I thought I would update with a recent photo of myself looking super out of it (thanks new years glitter party) wearing my new favorite sweater (thanks Johan!). I also bought some new photography equipment that should make it a lot easier for me to take photos, which should lead to more photos taken for dustydress.

i hope everyone is having a great new year! mine has been full of family, museum visits, cider, large amounts of delicious food from Burma Superstar (best restaurant on earth), indian pizza and moms home cooking (best indian food on earth).
